You will be warned once for all any violation below, after that the station is over:

Butt has to be on the bench at all times

Lock your arms completely out

No resting at the top for longer than 1 second.

Once you are at “failure,” continue to work to help the spotter rack the weight. If the spotter is unable to rack the weight because you have stopped pushing to “save energy,” an additional 2 spotters will be on standby and come help rack the weight. Doing this strategy to “save energy” is not permitted. If additional spotters need to come over, this will result in a 10 second penalty. Not worth it. Keep pushing.

You will be warned once for all any violation below, if warned more than once, you will be assigned 10 more reps:

Medicine ball will be picked up off the ground and go over either shoulder.

Participants are not permitted to “throw the ball” but to simply let it fall over their shoulder once it gets above the shoulder. This is a safety reason due to other participants being in the area

Keep the medicine ball in your area

Enter and exit through the instructed positions

You will be warned once for all any violation below, if warned more than once, you will be asked to start again at either the halfway line, or the start of the station:

You must maintain your sandbag on your body and will at no point set it down.

If you do set it down, you will be asked to start again at either the halfway mark or the start line.

Touch your knee to the ground every repetition

Stand all the way up after each rep

Start the station with any damper setting you want

Hit the prescribed distance (700m) before getting off the machine

Run or walk backwards at all times, don’t turn sideways

Failure to do so will result in the staff asking you to start the station over

Weight must be carried on the side of the body (like a suitcase). No other position is allowed

You can run up and down

Unlimited amount of switching hands/sides is allowed

You must switch hand quickly. It should take no more than 1 second to switch hands.

Do not drop the weight

Dropping the weight will result in the staff asking you to go 10 steps back down.
