This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Registration & race information: emergency contact details, gender, t-shirt size, hat size, gym affiliation, age group

  • Account information: username, password

  • Payment information: billing address, payment method (processed by third-party processors; we do not store full payment card details)

  • Event photography and media: photos, videos, or other images captured during an Absolute Mountain event

  • Communications: inquiries, customer support messages, surveys, feedback, or contest submissions

All personal information you provide must be true, accurate, and up-to-date.

 

1.2 Information Automatically Collected

When you visit our website or interact with our platforms, we automatically collect certain data, such as:

  • IP address

  • Browser type, device type, operating system

  • Language preferences

  • Referring URLs, pages viewed, time spent on pages

  • Approximate location (based on IP address)

3. EVENT PHOTOS, RESULTS & PUBLICATION

Because our experiences are athletic competitions, your participation may involve the collection and publication of race-related data.

 

3.1 Race Results & Leaderboards

Unless prohibited by law or unless you request removal, we may publicly display:

  • Name

  • Start number

  • Age group / gender

  • Gym or team affiliation

  • Nationality

  • Timing results

3.2 Event Photography & Media

By participating in an Absolute Mountain event, you acknowledge that:

  • Event photographers and videographers may capture images and video of participants.

  • Your image may appear in race recaps, promotional materials, website galleries, social media, and sponsor materials.

  • When event photo packages are sold by a third-party photography vendor, that vendor processes personal data on our behalf.

Where legally required, we will rely on your consent before using identifiable images for marketing.

4. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We do not sell personal information.
We only share information with:

We may share information with third parties that help us operate our Services, such as:

  • Registration platforms

  • Timing companies

  • Nonprofit entities

  • Payment processors (e.g., Stripe, Square, PayPal)

  • Email & marketing platforms (e.g., ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp, Klaviyo)

  • Adequacy decisions

Public race results remain available unless you request removal.

Event photography may be retained based on agreements with photo vendors.

Our Services are not directed to individuals under 18.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors under 18 without parental consent.

If you believe we have collected information from a minor, contact us immediately.

10. DO-NOT-TRACK SIGNALS

We do not currently respond to Do-Not-Track browser signals, as no consistent industry standard exists.

The “Last Updated” date will always reflect the most recent version.
