How to get started raising money for your selected nonprofits?
Pledge Process Example
I, (Pledger’s Name), commit to donating ($XX.XX) to the selected nonprofit(s) for every second that (Participant’s Name) finishes under 150 minutes.
**The average finishing time is approximately 70 minutes for most courses.**
Example Calculation
Final Time: 70:00
Time Under 150 Minutes: 4,800 seconds
If you pledged:
• $0.01 per second → Total donation: $48.00 (4,800 sec × $0.01)
• $0.05 per second → Total donation: $240.00 (4,800 sec × $0.05)
• $0.10 per second → Total donation: $480.00 (4,800 sec × $0.10)
After Race Day
Once results are finalized, the pledge will receive an email with:
• The participant’s official finish time
• The calculated total amount you owe
• Direct links to each nonprofit’s website to complete your donation
All donations are completed on an honor system. You will submit your pledged amount directly to the nonprofit(s) you selected.
